Silverdale Scoop: August 14th

August 14, 2014

Welcome Back!

We've been gearing up for your return all summer now, and it's finally here - the first week of school! We hope you've thoroughly enjoyed some relaxing time away this summer and are as excited about a new school year as we are. The 2014-2015 school year has already proven to be another banner year, with new enrollment records set once again and the largest senior class in the history of Silverdale Baptist Academy set to graduate next May. Stay close - God is at work!

Parent Testimony

A wonderful compliment received by Mrs. Hansard from one of our parents about our students:

"I must tell you, the upperclassmen at SBA never cease to amaze me. This is our fourth year at SBA. When walking through the halls of our school there has never been a time that an upperclassman didn't wait and hold a door, say "yes ma'am ", "no ma'am" or "thank you". I have never seen such a respectful group of students. In a world that we live in today,  it is really comforting to know that our daughter is being taught at school what we teach at home. From what a wonderful God we serve and how we do that to a simple kind gesture in a hallway to show respect to an elder. We are so blessed to have SBA in our community! Thanks again for all you do!"   - Sandra M.
