Each year, Silverdale honors our veterans who have served in the United States military at a school-wide Veterans Day celebration. We are proud of the service and sacrifice of so many, and never want to forget those who gave so much for the freedoms this great country enjoys today!

Our 8th-grade history classes sold Veterans Day t-shirts designed by 8th-grader Braden Wilson (third from right) to raise money for Wreaths Across Chattanooga. Their mission is to lay a wreath on every grave at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. In doing so, we remember all the Chattanooga area veterans who served our country, honor the lives of those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice, and teach the value of freedom and about those who protected our freedom. This is an opportunity to connect "The Greatest Generation" with the "Generation of Hope - The Next Greatest Generation" and an opportunity to honor our Chattanooga heroes. All proceeds will go to Wreaths Across Chattanooga, and each shirt will cover the cost of one wreath.
Last day to order: Wednesday, October 20th
