Blown Away by Middle School Production
High School Fine Arts Trip: Germany & Austria
The 2015-2016 High School Fine Arts trip will be during Spring Break 2016 and will feature a tour of art, music and drama sites in Austria and Germany. Students will visit Salzburg, Austria, home of Mozart and many "Sound of Music" filming sites and Vienna, Austria home to numerous artists and composers, as well as, the capital of European opera. Students will visit many famous castles and cathedrals, museums of amazing art and cultural experiences. We will also visit sites in Germany that reflect the rich artistic culture of the fine arts in both historical and contemporary settings. Students will also visit Dachau concentration camp and make a traditional German pastry in a hands-on cooking school.
Students interested in going must take at least one semester of a fine art (art, chorale, drama, praise band or concert band) next year and must have a valid passport by time of departure.

Camp Director: Brian Crossman – College head coach (23 years), Director of Lookout Mountain Soccer (8 years) USSF A license, Chattanooga FC Head Coach for the first 3 years. Brian has coached and overseen soccer camps for 34 years.
COVERED: Fundamental Training, Fitness, Foot skills, Tactical training, Team Attacking Shape, Team Defending Shape, Emphasis on Spiritual Development within Athletics

High School Final Exam Schedule:– Thursday 5/14 – Bible at 8:00, English at 10:15– Friday 5/15 – Foreign Languages at 8:00, History at 10:15– Monday 5/18 – Math at 9:00– Tuesday 5/19 – Science at 10:00– Wednesday 5/20 – AP US History and Government 8:00, Make Up Exams– Friday 5/22 – AP Psychology 8:00Exam Dismissal Forms will be available soon.
- SENIORS: Graduation practice will be at 10:30 a.m. sharp on Thursday 5/21.
- Summer School Dates – If a student needs credit recovery in Summer School, we will send letters out by 5/22 with more specific details. But for planning purposes, there will be two options for completion of courses – June 8th through July 20th OR June 15th through July 27th. All course work will be done on-line (with the exception of Bible) and the final exam will be proctored on campus at the end of each session.
- SUMMER BAND CAMP: We will be doing a summer Band Camp June 22nd - 26th, 9:00am - 12:00pm in room 233. This is open to any SBA students in grades 6-12. The charge is $25 and this includes the lesson book and a camp t-shirt.

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK: Two athletes have qualified to compete in the A-AA Sub-Sectional meet at Red Bank on May 7-8. Mason Kennedy will be doing the triple jump event. Noah Cochran will be running the 1600 and the 3200.
