With the start of the 2015-16 school year comes the addition of the SAGE Dining food service program here at Silverdale, and hopefully your children are coming home with exciting tales of lunch! We'll be updating information throughout the semester, but as of right now, you can view full menus for both upper and lower schools, along with other great information, all on Silverdale's custom SAGE Dining webpage. Be sure to check it out and let us know if you have any questions.
Private Music Instruction
If you are interested in weekly private music instruction for your child(ren) please don't forget to add them to our list. We offer lessons for piano, voice, violin, guitar, bass guitar, drums/percussion, hammered dulcimer and we can arrange other lessons if requested. We will have a table set up during Elementary, Middle School and High School registrations with information and sign-up sheets. If your child is already taking lessons with one of our teachers and you want to continue with that teacher, you may let them know and your name will be added to the list. Please include a phone number so we can contact you to schedule the lesson time. Enjoy the rest of your summer and we'll see you soon!
Wanted: Volunteer Photographers
Do you have a passion for photography and find yourself at all kinds of events, camera in-hand? If so, we need your help!
With so many events happening all of the time here at Silverdale, our desire is to capture as much as possible in order to preserve the history we're making here every day. Between our three yearbooks, social media, and our website, just to name a few, there is a constant need for these images. We need parents who are free both during and after school hours, willing to shoot everything from field trips to sporting events to special events like Donuts for Dads, and much more. If this sounds like something you're interested in, please contact our Director of Communications, Daniel Ashworth, by email for more information and to discuss what options might work best for you. We hope you'll consider joining forces with other parents here in helping to preserve the precious memories of our students.GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PRESCHOOL

Preschool Parent Orientation begins at 10:00 am on Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th. You should attend on the day that coincides with the days your child is enrolled. See your email for details.

First Day of Preschool is Wednesday, August 19th at 9:00 am. We must have your child's updated Immunization Record and Emergency Card on file by this date.

First Day of Preschool Early Birds & Night Owls is Thursday, August 20th. Use Door #4 (Preschool Entrance) for drop off and pick up. Your child must be registered in advance. Click here for information and forms.

Middle School students will enjoy a day of fun and fellowship at Camp Vesper Point as we begin our school year. They will strengthen team-building skills and will create bonds with their peers and teachers.

- Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit sales for the 2015-2016 school year will begin Monday, August 17th. Each morning you may purchase a biscuit for $2.75. Juice can be purchased for an additional cost.
HIGH SCHOOL
- HELP NEEDED:
- Dayton family desperately needs help with transportation of their high school daughter to and from SBA. If you can help, even by meeting them somewhere along the route, please contact Kim McDonald at kmcdonald@silverdaleba.org.
- Looking for a SBA parent in the Hixson/Soddy Daisy area to bring home a middle school daughter and high school daughter each afternoon after school. Willing to pay someone for their help. Looking for an adult driver. If interested, contact Kim McDonald at kmcdonald@silverdaleba.org.
