New High School Building

We hope you were able to join us for the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on August 9th, but if you missed out, we'll fill you in!

With all of the amazing growth that we've seen as an Academy through the years, it was inevitable that we'd be building again soon enough. Through years of prayer and guidance from the Lord, Silverdale Baptist Church and Academy joined forces to erect the newest two-story education building on this thriving campus. With a first floor devoted to the church's growing needs, the second floor is home to many of our new high school classrooms and the high school administrative offices. With two dedicated science labs and nine other standard classrooms, these facilities have provided much-needed space for our high schoolers to spread out and learn in an environment like they've never quite had at Silverdale until now. SMART boards and flatscreen TVs, combined with Apple TVs, give the teachers flexibility to walk the isles of their classroom while lecturing with their iPad wirelessly to the classroom displays. Individual desks are a first in these new facilities as well, considering our upper school students are used to sitting together at collegiate-style tables, previously sharing shallow spaces with an overcrowded array of books, papers and laptops.
