The Mission and Vision of SBA

At SBA we operate every moment of every day on the firm, unwavering foundation of God's word. Beyond that, we adhere strongly to our Statement of Faith and work diligently to live out our Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and Core Values of discipleship, excellence and integrity. As parents, we want you to take another look at this content - our values - and give us your feedback. Before diving in to one of the links above, here's our Mission Statement and Vision Statement:

Mission Statement "SBA’s mission is to partner with families in order to provide an environment of academic excellence with a Biblical worldview, which is conducive to developing educated young people of character, while preparing them to represent our Lord Jesus Christ in all walks of life."

Vision Statement "SBA’s vision is to impact our world by preparing students to become godly warriors, as we implement Discipleship (Mt. 28:15–20), expect Excellence (1 Cor. 10:31), and encourage Integrity (Psalm 15)."

Elementary Moms Mentoring Group

9_crazy-busy-product-shot-horizon_mediumWe've all heard it. We've all said it. All too often, busyness gets the best of us. In this (mercifully) short book about a (really) big problem, award-winning author Kevin DeYoung puts an end to "busyness as usual," helping us to strike the balance between doing nothing and doing it all. Elementary Moms, please come and join Kim Thompson beginning Friday, February 21st in the Chapel at 9:15. This study will be about 4 weeks long. You can download a copy or purchase one at any bookseller. Look forward to seeing you there.

Middle School Bowling Club

Bowling-Strike1Our High School Bowling Coach will be conducting an 8 week Middle School Bowling Club program. This club will meet on Thursdays beginning February 27th at the Holiday Bowling Center in Brainerd from 3:30-5:30 for $15.00 per week. The program includes 2 hours of bowling with instruction, center-provided bowling shoes & ball, a personal drilled bowling ball you keep (once the full 8 week fee is paid) and a pizza party the 8th week. Don't miss the fun!

Beta Club Sponsors Blood Drive

The high school Beta Club sponsored by Mrs. Sarah Johnson has organized a blood drive in cooperation with Blood Assurance. We hope you'll consider giving and mark your calendars for next Thursday, February 27th from 9am - 4pm. You'll need to sign up for a time slot before dropping by, but we have all of those details on the Parent Portal here. That's not all though - there will be cookie cakes, pizza parties, and dress down days for the homerooms with the most participation, school-wide! Tell all your friends, family, neighbors, and church members to give blood and mention your homeroom. That's it! Stay close, as we'll continue to keep you informed.
