Senior Trip to Greece

We are excited to share with you the opportunity our seniors have to travel to Greece in April for their senior trip in partnership with AMG International. The purpose of this trip is not only to engage our students in mission work, but also to give them the opportunity to experience new cultures and to challenge them spiritually. Our students have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the places where the Apostle Paul traveled as he took the Gospel to the Greeks. Such places include the biblical sites of Corinth, Philippi, Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as other places of historical significance. Each visit brings to life the biblical truths found in the epistles written by the Apostle Paul. Kostas Tsevas, our tour guide, is an amazing biblical scholar gifted in guiding our students to discover nuggets of biblical truths and historical facts. Our students’ faith will be strengthened as they see and experience first-hand the archeological evidence which testifies to the historicity and authenticity of the New Testament! [gallery type="rectangular" link="none" size="medium" ids="2361,2359,2357,2353,2354,2355"] This trip also allows our students to grow through serving and sharing their testimony and Christian Worldview. Our students will do mission work in the heart of Athens, serving at a homeless shelter and sharing Christ’s love in a variety of practical ways. In addition to all these opportunities for ministry and spiritual growth, our students will enjoy the beautiful countryside, the Greek food, a day cruise to explore the island of Hydra in the Aegean Sea, the underwater ruins of the ancient city of Cenchrea, and recreational activities at the beautiful Cosmovision Center. This senior trip to Greece is a memorable, enriching and life-changing experience for our students! Please start praying for our senior as they embark on their senior year and as they prepare for their senior trip in April. We hope you enjoy a sample of the pictures we took during our last trip to Greece, above. Margarita Ioannidis High School Dean of Academics Silverdale Baptist Academy
