Spiritual Life

SpiritualLife

As one of our three pillars, discipleship is no small matter at Silverdale. Interweaving spiritual care and superior academics is an art crafted with great care. Discipleship here feels like being part of a big, welcoming family. Whether it's gathering, meeting in small groups, or having honest conversations with faculty and friends, there are no shortage of ways to grow spiritually.

The spiritual lives of our students are supported in two primary ways, through daily fundamentals and supportive programming. Check them both out below.

Daily Spiritual Fundamentals

"This year in Chapel we learned to stay confident in our relationship with God and to find friends that will change you to be more of a Christ follower. I am also grateful for the praise band during chapel that has captivated us, and tugged on our hearts to be open and to give God everything you have when praising. I am thankful that Silverdale has provided those opportunities for us. "

-Mason, Class of 2030

Supportive Spiritual Programming

Chapel

Our student body meets for corporate worship weekly where they pray, worship through singing, and hear biblical truths.

D-Groups and Retreats

Once a week, grades 5-12 take a deep dive into biblical truths with a small group led by a staff member.

Tribes and Chap Chat

Elementary students have many opportunities to build their faith through "tribe" relationships and classroom chats with our chaplain.

Community Outreach

There are few better ways to apply ones faith than by serving our community as the hands and feet of Jesus.
