Chapel

WorshipTogether

Silverdale shares a mission with the church to see all students walk humbly with the Lord. Bringing students, teachers, and staff together in a rhythm of worship reinforces a sense of belonging and shared identity rooted in Christ.  Our weekly chapel services create time for reflection, prayer,  worship, and biblical teaching.

Preschool Chapel

Preschool chapel, led by Principal Shelly, is a favorite time of the week. Classes meet in our Treehouse room on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to worship with singing, learn the power of prayer, and hear how the entire bible points to our Savior.

Week to week chapels could have a special speaker with a fun and relevant message or special games and activities all with the purpose of pointing our littlest Seahawks to Jesus.

Elementary Chapel

Every Wednesday, the atmosphere is filled with excitement and expectation as the vibrant opening video declares, "It's time to listen, to learn, and to love God more!"

Our fifth-grade student leaders kick things off with a high-energy launch song, then guide the school through the recitation of our school motto and pledges, and a moment of reverence for God’s Word. With hearts and minds focused, students then kneel together in prayer, followed by an uplifting and interactive praise song that reignites their joy and enthusiasm for worship. At the heart of chapel is the message where our chaplain steps up each week to open God’s Word and bring it to life in a way that is both thoughtful and deeply engaging.

On particularly special Wednesdays, our chapel services ends with student baptisms allowing our school community to witness and celebrate these steps of faith.

Upper School Chapel

Chapel is centered on wisdom, worship, and developing godly habits as outlined in scripture. The theme this school year is "I'll Take You at Your Word." Our students are challenged to have a true, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship with God Almighty, through His Son, should be the beginning of a strong relationship with one another - a relationship that seeks the good of others as much as their own. God desires for each of us to be committed to something greater than ourselves! It is crucial that we band together, each of us working towards unity in each aspect of the Academy - in academics, arts, and service within our community. Each student, faculty member, and administrator should seek to serve those around them daily.
