Reflection and Thanks from Grace Academy

sba-grace-217-of-760

In line with what we teach our students from Kindergarten on that a Silverdale student leaves a place better than they found it, below is a positive message our administration received following last Friday's football game at Grace:

"Just wanted to take a moment and applaud each of you and your fan base for your actions last Friday Night.  As the new athletic director, it was very touching to have my bleacher set up and removal crew report back to me that they found very little trash left around your seating areas.  Your folks did an amazing job picking up after themselves.  We appreciate this very much and are very humbled by the actions of your fans.  I was further humbled to hear that your students came down during half time and picked up the confetti that was thrown during the beginning of the game.  I can not say enough how much these actions meant to us at Grace.  Thank you and best to all of you in the days to come.  May God Bless."

Baseball Fundraiser: SCORE Trip to the Dominican

yard-sale-1

Our High School Baseball team has a wonderful opportunity through SCORE International to travel overseas on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic! Pray that God will use them as true role models as they share the love of Christ with the people in the DR. The team is currently raising funds to help with the expenses and will be having a Yard Sale on Saturday, October 1st from 8:00am-12:00pm at the athletics complex. They are accepting donations, so if you have items for them to sell, please contact the Team Mom, Ellen Rogers by email or you can drop them off at Silverdale to the attention of "SCORE Mission Trip". They are accepting monetary donations as well. Thank you for your support!
