CyberSmart | Tools for Parents Living in the Digital Age

We are fighting with you for the heart of our children! One of the things robbing their time and hearts is the internet and social media, so we hope you’ll join us on January 26, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. for a night with the experts on how to navigate this huge issue. We are hosting a workshop for parents called CyberSmart: Tools for Parents Living in the Digital Age.

Mrs. Ginger Pierce, our High School Bible Department head and teacher, will help us with understanding how prevalent and powerful social media is for our children and what the psychological impact is on them. Then, Dr. Ben Schoening, Silverdale Baptist Church Pastor of Marriage, Family & Counseling Ministries, will guide us through a discussion on teaching our students their Identity in Christ, which is by design. The night will conclude with Mr. David Barber, our Director of Network Operations, who will give us resources and guidance to help protect you, our families.
