The Silverdale Baptist Academy Conservatory offers students the incredible opportunity to learn music performance in a one-on-one environment from experienced teachers and performers on the SBA campus.

Students may choose from a wide variety of instruments, or take private vocal lessons. Lessons occur during non-academic periods during school, or immediately following the conclusion of the school day.

I'm Interested in Private Music Instruction

The choral program  engages and inspires students in the art of choral singing. We invite them to study the foundations and fundamentals of vocal music and explore the origins of group singing throughout music history.  

Middle School Choral Music

In this course, students learn the basics of vocal music including how to provide proper breath control, how to sing in the correct vocal range, and how to blend. 

High School Choral Music

High School Choir students build upon their foundational knowledge of vocal music by learning challenging three and four part harmonies, practicing sight singing, studying the history of vocal music, and exploring world music. Our High School students are provided with several unique performing and learning opportunities every year. Our students have performed at The Hunter Art Museum, The Chattanooga Christmas Market, and our SBA Christmas and Spring Fine Arts programs. Students also travel to Martin Boyd Christian Home once a semester to perform for the residents. Our students have visited UTC, Lee University, and Sewanee to observe and learn from their choirs. Last Spring, our High School Choir participated in ACSI’s Virtual Choral Festival and was awarded an “Excellent” score.

Alongside Mrs. Connie Regal, students learn the art, technique, and joy of dance.

Our Creator has given us gifts of dance to enjoy life and use it as an expression to praise and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. Meeting in our state-of-the art dance studio, the SBA dance program offers students of all levels the opportunity to learn about and participate in a variety of dance programs including Dance Fitness, Intro to Dance, Intermediate Dance, Theatrical Dance Performance, and His Company (our troupe of trained dancers). 

Theatre is a place to learn, serve and shine!

SBA offers classes to teach the basics of theatre which consists of proper volume, articulation, blocking, gestures, facial expressions, energy, reaction, discipline of memorization and characterization. However, there are many benefits of a Drama Education; self confidence, imagination, empathy, collaboration, problem solving, fun, emotional outlets relaxation, self discipline, trust, memory and aesthetic appreciation.
