Experience HisCreation

What better way to learn about God’s creation than to experience His creation? We believe experiential learning needs to be integrated into all curriculums at Silverdale Baptist Academy. These educational experiences also need to take advantage of opportunities that God gives us for learning, such as a solar eclipse or the beginning of spring.

Our Outdoor Education Team supports the classroom in many ways. In addition to teaching a handful of outdoor electives, they help teachers prepare outdoor lesson plans and maintain over 70 outdoor education zones.

"My daughter just planted her own veggies and herbs in our raised beds. With dirty hands and a happy heart, she was confident in a job well done because, 'this is how Mr. Smith taught us to do it.' I'm so thankful for a Silverdale education that goes beyond the classroom."
