Silverdale students have the opportunity to earn nearly 40 hours of college credit with Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses. These courses are offered in addition to university path and honors courses and a wide variety of electives.

The Nest Learning Lab is a dedicated space where tutoring, academic intervention, and additional work time will be provided in a structured and supervised setting. The focus of the NEST is to maximize student learning while reinforcing classroom learning. In the Nest, students have the opportunity to make up work, have extended time on assignments, and directed study. Students may make an appointment with the Nest before or after school or during activity period.

Silverdale's enrichment opportunities are endless. While experiential learning is an organic part of learning, students are supported outside of the classroom with clubs and honor societies, service projects, off-campus experiences, and missions opportunities. 

Students also have the opportunity to participate in SOAR sports, a number of athletics, and a robust arts program. 

The College and Career Office provides student assistance with academic success and college readiness. Students can receive information regarding their GPA and test results, guidance in selecting the right post-secondary plans, assistance with college applications, resumes, FAFSA and scholarship applications.  Transcripts can be requested and will be sent to any college or university the student chooses.  Students are encouraged to set and reach personal goals and are given advice in a caring environment.

We believe consistency fosters connection. That’s why each student is thoughtfully placed in a homeroom as a freshman, remaining with the same teacher and group of peers throughout all four years of high school. 

In addition, every Tuesday after Chapel, students join gender-specific discipleship groups made up of their homeroom classmates. This intentional structure builds lasting friendships and allows students to form meaningful, mentoring relationships with their homeroom teacher and discipleship group leader.
